Providence Cottage (centre of the picture) is a similar age as its next door neighbour Cathedral View Cottage and is situated in Paul's Terrace, a quiet road a few minutes' walk from Truro city centre.
Truro still has a wide variety of shops: Marks & Spencer, Co-Op and Tesco are a few minutes' walk away while Waitrose, Sainsbury's and Lidl are a few minutes' away by car. Transport links are good: the railway station is a 10-minute walk or a three-minute drive, with frequent mainline connections to London, the North and Penzance, and the bus station is a five-minute walk with connections all over Cornwall. Newquay airport is a 20-minute drive away, with three daily flights to Gatwick. In summer the ferry to Falmouth and St Mawes runs from the town quay at high tide, a few minutes' walk away, and from Malpas at low tide, a five-minute drive away.
The cottage is rather more "grown up" than its next-door neighbour Cathedral View Cottage and is not so small child-friendly. Well-behaved dogs are very welcome and there are plenty of nearby dog walks.
Accommodation comprises two double bedrooms: the large front bedroom has a super king-size double and the smaller back bedroom a standard double with a wash hand basin.
There is a comfortable front sitting room, with smart TV and video, and a small dining room. The fully-equipped kitchen has a dishwasher, microwave, gas hob and electric oven. There is also an iron, ironing board and vacuum cleaner. The washing machine and separate dryer are situated in a small exterior utility room.
The upstairs bathroom has a bath, with excellent shower, a hand basin and a WC. There is a separate WC downstairs.
The cottage also benefits from a fast wi-fi connection.
The front garden has a very sunny patio with a BBQ and seating overlooking the cathedral. The cottage does not have its own off-street parking but there is free off-street parking nearby.
